Runmarö

Runmarö is one of the larger islands in the archipelago and has long been inhabited by fishermen and pilots, it is still a living archipelago island with a resident population, kindergarten, school, chapel. The island is calcareous and mainly known for its many orchids, including the magnificent Guckuskon and the shy Flugblomstren.

Hire a bike, pack a picnic basket and go exploring on beautiful gravel roads in beautiful nature with unique flora and to genuine villages. If you want to go out on the water, rent a kayak and paddle out into the Runmarö archipelago.

There is a shop, restaurant, bakery and the possibility to rent rooms/houses on the island.
