Görvälnsbadet

Görvälnsbadet is located at the end of Mälarvägen. Here are several opportunities for a perfect day at the beach. The bath offers large sloping grass areas, a playground, beach volleyball court, changing rooms and toilets. There are also barbecue areas and a café/restaurant open in summer.

From Görvälnsbadet, there is a beautiful two-kilometer walk along Mälarstranden to Görvälns Castle. The promenade has no steep slopes and it is possible to drive a stroller here.

Along the beach you can look for beaver tracks. You'll find beaver-fallen deciduous trees that look like they've been chopped down with an axe. In fact, it's the beaver that has been gnawing away at the tree.

Dogs are not allowed at Görvälnsbadet (except in the swimming pool). There is a special dog bath at Ängsjö outdoor area.

Barbecues are only allowed in designated barbecue areas.
