Fredrikaslingan is a cultural trail with signs telling about the life of Fredrika Bremer. She was a world-famous writer and cultural personality in the 19th century and lived at Årsta Castle. Fredrika Bremer was a driving force in women's rights issues. Fredrikaslingan is an easy walk in the castle park and in the castle's immediate surroundings. It starts outside the main entrance to the castle. The loop goes around the castle, through its park and then south through the southern avenue to Husbyån. The walk is about 1.2 km, when you are back at the castle. The Fredrikaslingan is also accessible to people with reduced mobility.

In the museum wing of the castle, you can follow Fredrika Bremer's life through preserved furniture and personal items. The museum has special opening hours. Guided tours are organized during the summer season.
