Pilgrimsleden Fogdön, etapp 4, St Eskil-leden

The pilgrimage trail on Fogdön, which meets the Gyllenhjelmsleden trail from Eskilstuna, is popular with both walkers and cyclists.

The Fogdön Pilgrimage Trail is located west of Strängnäs and stretches from St. Eskil's spring on the outskirts of Strängnäs to Björsund.

The trail as a whole is about 66 km, marked throughout with posts and signs in white/yellow/light blue and with a pilgrim badge in black.

The trail is divided into four stages:

1. Vansöleden 26.5 km (connecting trail from/to Strängnäs Cathedral)
2. Fogdöleden 22.6 km
3. Helgaröleden 12.1 km
4. St Eskil trail 4.5 km
