Discover Landborgen!

Landborgen has a unique natural-geographical and cultural-historical background. It rises between 20 and 40 meters above sea level and is the result of land uplift after the melting of the ice sheet. From Christinelund in the north, via the city center, to Rau's church in the south, Landborgen includes several different environments. Large parts of Landborgen have never been built on and form a continuous green belt of woodland, farmland and parks. Along the slopes of Landborgen with its intersecting ravines, a concentrate of Helsingborg's history is gathered. Welcome to walk along this stately geological formation that is also the city's hallmark, Helsingborg's "spine".

The distance from Rau's church to Kärnan is about eight kilometers long. At Rau's church you have the opportunity to walk out into the Råån valley with its varied landscape of pastures, deciduous groves, fields and wetlands.

On the walk towards the city center, you pass several scenic areas such as Ättekulla, Ramlösaravinen and Jordbodalen. The walk extends through the district of Söder and on to Kärnan.

From Kärnan, the walk continues northwards, through beautiful parks and beautiful nature, with the ever-present view of the city and Öresund. The well-known forest and nature area Pålsjö Forest is passed before the walk ends at Sofiero Castle in the north. The distance from Kärnan to Sofiero is about six kilometers long.
