Deciduous forest and outdoor ecopark
Storklinten Ecopark offers a varied and hilly landscape, a few miles north of Boden. High rounded mountain peaks are surrounded by steep slopes and, in between, valleys with fertile streams, marshes and small lakes. The old-growth forest spreads out on the mountain slopes. There are untouched spruce and pine forests as well as areas with elements of old coarse aspen and birch.
With its coastal location, diverse nature and rich opportunities for outdoor recreation, Storklinten Ecopark is well worth a visit. In order to preserve and develop the high natural values in Storklinten, Sveaskog has chosen to make the area an ecopark.
