At the height of Stråtjära lies the beach paradise Skogsand! An enjoyable bathing place that invites you to long days in the sun and swimming.

Here the sandy beach is fine-grained and the lake shallow. The artificial pier surrounds the bathing area, which is also a perfect place to watch the sunset.

Before the beach is Skogsand camping, a simple but incredibly popular caravan and motorhome campsite with close contact to the lake. Campers often return here and it easily becomes a favorite with many. For those who want to experience camping life at Skogsand and who do not have a caravan or motorhome, you can of course camp. The camping area is located away from the beach, where you can find nice places under one of the large pines to settle down.
