Perjonsgården

The Per-Hilding Perjons Foundation shows the artist's work during his lifetime in his home in the village of Hagen.

A living museum of a rare and varied production. Per-Hilding was one of the few artists who managed to support himself and his family with his art. Although his works were widely distributed over the years, many paintings remain in the Perjon Foundation. Paintings that Per-Hilding himself helped to select during the last years of his life.

Thanks to the foundation, Per-Hilding's spirit is very much alive at Perjonsgården in Dala-Floda. The walls of the farm, both indoors and outdoors, are covered with paintings that convey many feelings and thoughts.

One of the things that perhaps most characterizes Per-Hilding's work is the incredible versatility that characterizes the artwork. From very realistic portraits of nature and people, to paintings that convey deep emotions, while leaving much to the viewer's own thoughts.

Another part of Per-Hilding's diversity is the written works found at Perjonsgården. Many poems and compendiums reveal the depth of thought and breadth of knowledge that Per-Hilding had.
