Garpenbergs gammelgård

Garpenberg's old farm is an open-air museum with about ten older buildings, all moved there. Among other things, a beautiful couple's cottage, a miner's cottage, sheds, barns, a smithy and a boat shed. Close to the farm, by Finnhytte Dammsjön, there is also the mile site with barbecue area and charcoal hut.

Feel free to visit the homestead and the mile site on your own. On Sundays in July, the farm and the restaurant are normally open. At other times, guided tours can be booked via Garpenberg's homestead association.
