Gagnefs minnesstuga

The homestead, built on the ridge overlooking the Österdal River and the blue mountains, was donated by Ottilia Adelborg and three of her friends to the people of Gagnef in 1909.

Today, the memorial cabin consists of 22 buildings of various types and uses from the 16th to the 19th century. Some of the buildings are furnished as a home from the late 1800s and show the time of self-sufficiency.

The farm is today managed by the Gagnefs Minnesstuga Foundation.
