Dala-Floda Gammelgård

The farm consists of about ten buildings that have been moved here from Floda parish.

The collections include about 1350 objects. Among these, homes and households, hunting and fishing, handicrafts, textiles and costumes dominate. A dozen dolls dressed in the different colorful variants of the Floda costume are faithfully placed in the main building.

Right next to the old farmhouse in equally beautiful surroundings is the popular Hjort-Olars café.

Dala-Floda also has the restaurants Flokullornas and Byns skafferi. Ica and fuel pumps are centrally located. Around Dala-Floda there are a number of attractions, hiking trails, canoeing, rafting, the Perjons Foundation's beautiful paintings and not least Wåhlstedt's farm with sales of vegetables and bread. In the summer there are also several flea markets to bargain in.
