Kolarbyrundan

Urban loop in Fagersta municipality that goes around Kolarbysjön. The walk takes about 30 minutes and is 2.50 km long. It is an easy route with some obstacles in the form of roots, stones and the like. It can therefore be difficult to get around with a wheelchair.

At the lake you can swim, fish (free of charge) and barbecue at the designated barbecue area. All forms of fire making are at your own risk. We therefore ask you to be careful and keep yourself updated on fire conditions. There is also a toilet adjacent to the lake.

There is a jetty that is exposed in the lake and a bathing raft that is used frequently in summer. During the winter, there is cold bathing and ice skating when the ice settles on the lake.

Note that along the round you pass residential houses, which means that you must follow all the rules and procedures that apply when staying in nature. Welcome out around Kolarbysjön!
