Hälsans stig – Karlskoga

Hälsans stig in Karlskoga is a walking-friendly and accessible trail that encourages movement and reduces sedentary behavior. The path runs through the center of Karlskoga and follows the promenade along Lake Möckeln. During your walk you will pass both historical sites and more modern areas where new buildings and infrastructure are being developed.

One of the interesting places along the way is Karlskoga Konsthall, located in Tingshusparken which is a real oasis in the middle of the city. The building, which is now an art gallery, was originally the jail for the courthouse where Alfred Nobel's will was prosecuted.

On the way you will also find an oak tree that impresses with its four meters in circumference. It is located right next to Ekeliden, which is Karlskoga's second oldest building. The walk also takes you to the promenade, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. There are both relaxing places and exciting play areas in the creative activity park.
