Holavedsleden etapp HO3 Adelöv - Gripenberg - En del av Smålandsleden

From Adelöv, Holavedsleden continues south through a quiet and varied landscape. Here the trail goes through forests, across small open fields and past quiet forest lakes. The terrain is slightly to moderately hilly and is ideal for a pleasant day hike.

Along the way, you pass through classic Småland environments where stone fences, croft ruins and older farmland are reminders of how the landscape was once used.

The stage ends in Gripenberg, a village with a strong historical character. Gripenberg is particularly famous for Gripenberg Castle, one of Sweden's largest privately owned wooden buildings from the 17th century. The castle and its surroundings give the area a unique cultural-historical setting.
