Omschrijving
The farm consists of about ten buildings that have been moved here from Floda parish.
The collections include about 1350 objects. Among these, homes and households, hunting and fishing, handicrafts, textiles and costumes dominate. A dozen dolls dressed in the different colorful variants of the Floda costume are faithfully placed in the main building.
Right next to the old farmhouse in equally beautiful surroundings is the popular Hjort-Olars café.
Dala-Floda also has the restaurants Flokullornas and Byns skafferi. Ica and fuel pumps are centrally located. Around Dala-Floda there are a number of attractions, hiking trails, canoeing, rafting, the Perjons Foundation's beautiful paintings and not least Wåhlstedt's farm with sales of vegetables and bread. In the summer there are also several flea markets to bargain in.

Aan de achterkant van de oude binnenplaats is er parkeergelegenheid voor Gammelgården en het aangrenzende populaire Hjort-Olars café.
Routebeschrijving
Volg de E16 naar Dala-Floda. Of je neemt de industriële brug of de houten brug bij de kerk over de rivier. Als je de houten brug oversteekt dan ga je links van ongeveer 400 m en ben je er. Het is ook mogelijk om bij de kerk te parkeren en de houten brug over te steken naar Gammlegården.
