We look forward to welcoming you to Bispgården!
You will find buildings dating from the 16th century, including Husaby’s oldest shop, a granary and a fairly simple bishop’s residence, next door to Biskopsborgen,The estate is said to have belonged to Olof Skötkonung and he is believed to have been baptised in St Brigid’s spring.
Bispgården lies in the centre of Husaby, at the heart of the cradle of Swedish Christianity, home to Sweden’s first cathedral, with numerous hiking/mountain-biking/horse-riding trails on the doorstep. The gateway to beautiful Kinnekulle.
Anyone looking to come to Kinnekulle with their horse to enjoy some riding will find both paddocks and enclosures on hand.
The estate also operates as a farm and is home to a number of animals such as cattle, sheep, cats and a friendly labrador.
