Biosfärleden Etapp 6 Hällekis-Myrbacken

Section 6 of the Biosphere Trail runs from Hällekis station to Myrbacken. The walk starts at the shore of Lake Vänern and passes through Hällekis with its historic workers' housing, the harbor and the craft collectives along Falkängsvägen. The trail continues on forest paths and gravel roads to the village of Forshem, where both a medieval burial church and Sweden's oldest still active inn are located. The route then passes through idyllic countryside with farms, pastures and grazing animals. The stage is easy to walk and relatively flat and ends in Myrbacken.
