Tååsen ligger 1 mil norr om Västerås. Följ skyltar mot väg 56, Gävle och Sala. Kör 8 kilometer och sväng sen vänster vid skylt Skultuna. Kör 3,5 kilometer. Sväng höger vid skylt Romfartuna k:a 4 och Kör 2 kilometer. På vänster sida av vägen finns en parkering, före bron över Kvarnbäcken.

There are rules that you as a visitor must follow. The rules are there to protect the area's natural values.

It is forbidden to:

• camping
• making fires
• ride a bicycle or horse in the terrain
• climbing trees or otherwise intentionally disturbing wildlife
• felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees and shrubs, and damaging vegetation or natural objects in general, for example by collecting plants or mushrooms, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms for domestic use
• collecting insects or other invertebrates
• putting up a board, sign, poster, orientation control or other markings, or permanently marking trails
• use the area for organized competitions or exercises or similar purposes
• bring an unleashed dog or other stray pet
• change the composition of the flora or fauna by introducing new species to the area.
