At the memorial site for the Battle of Herrevadsbro by Kolbäcksån, next to Kolbäcks Gästgiveri. The site has benches where you can sit and look out over Kolbäcksån. There is also more information about the site and the battle that is said to have been fought here in 1251. Valdemar Birgersson had been elected King of Sweden and his father Birger Jarl ruled Sweden. A group of great men, called the Folkungs, rebelled and gathered people abroad. With a gathering of Swedes, Danes, Norwegians and Germans, the Folkungs faced Birger Jarl in the infamous Battle of Herrevadsbro, Kolbäck.

The memorial is located right next to Kolbäcks Gästgivaregård. Take the road on Herrevadsvägen and the memorial site will be directly on the right side. Flagpoles and gravel path from the road lead up to the memorial site.
