Beskrivelse
Sandviksbadet, with its shallow beach and beautiful location, is a very child-friendly bathing area.
There are changing cabins, playground, toilets and jetties.
Sandviksbadet is one of Skinnskatteberg municipality's municipal bathing areas. Maintenance and supervision of the bathing area is handled by the association Heds IF. Information about the water quality at Skinnskatteberg's municipal bathing areas can be found here.
Please note that dogs are not allowed at the municipal bathing areas Liens badplats, Sandvikens badplats and Skärsjöns badplats. Please also remember to follow the instructions at the bathing site and to park in a way that allows emergency vehicles to get to the bathing site if necessary. Keep a good distance from each other, show consideration in the water and help keep the bathing area clean and tidy.

Parkering
A large parking lot is located right at the entrance from road 250. Park your car there and walk the remaining 100 meters on foot. 2 disabled parking spaces are available just outside the bathing area. Follow the signs. These spaces are only for those with permission to park in designated disabled parking spaces.
Please note that it is forbidden to park in front of the barrier leading into the bathing area. Clear access for emergency vehicles is of utmost importance for everyone's safety. It is also important to stick to the designated gravel parking lot as there is a parking ban along the road leading to the bathing area.
