Kokplattan, Västerås

At Kokplatten in Kajstaden on Öster Mälarstrand, Joakim Ojanen's artwork Ode to Lake Mälaren, inaugurated on April 19, 2023, is one of Ojanen's sculpture series My Place in Bronze created for Kajstaden.

Since the installation of The Time Traveler in 2020, four more works of art have been installed. Together, the sculpture series now forms its own art walk and story - about growing up in Västerås and about being human. These artworks are placed on the hotplate and along Notuddskajen.
