Torpshammar liten promenadslinga

In Torpshammar there are many small roads to walk along. Here are suggestions for two routes. Parking is available at the IP and you can travel here by public transport either by train to the train station or by bus that stops at several places along Torpshammarvägen. If you start at the school and walk counterclockwise, you first go up to the footbridge that crosses the river just above the railroad. Then cross Vildhussens väg to Klöstrevägen. Follow this gravel road for about 1 kilometer and then turn left down another gravel road. It goes between the farmlands down over the railroad and out on Torpshammarvägen. Here you turn left and follow the road back to the community. If you want to go for a longer walk, continue on Klöstrevägen, a little more than a kilometer, and then turn left. The gravel road comes down on Torpshammarvägen, turn left and then right pretty soon and you will come down to the campsite. Here you go past the barrier and follow the gravel road towards the cabins. When you pass the camping cabins, you cross a bridge. There is a shelter and a barbecue area. The road becomes narrower and grassy but continues away through the forest. At the junction that eventually appears, keep right up a hill and then come out on Torpshammarvägen again. Then keep right and follow the road back to the community.
