Friluftsliv på recept - Skönsbergsspåret

Around Ortviksberget, north of Skönsberg, there is an illuminated trail in the forest. It is a wide, graveled track with few slopes and it is possible to walk with a stroller here. However, it is a little too uneven in places to be recommended for people using walkers. Therefore, this route has been classified as Blue.

The trail is easy to reach from the surrounding residential areas of Skönsberg, Ortviken, Sibirien and Rosenlund. On the north side of the mountain there is a parking lot that is reached via a gravel road from Rosenlund. The nearest bus stop is on Medborgargatan south of the track and is called Tjädervägen. The track also has a connecting loop north towards Nordichallen where there is further parking and a bus stop.

The trail runs mostly in lush forest and is clear and easy to follow. Along the route you pass several rest areas and if you make a small detour up to the view (see map) you will find another rest area.
