The path to the top starts at the end of the road at a small turnaround. It then follows Kvarnbäcken/Skraahpejohke on the north side into the steep and dramatic valley.

The path is not marked.

The path will eventually dissolve and you have to look for the best way up to the top at 1,205 meters above sea level. It's a bit tricky and you have to cross some wet bogs on the way up. It levels out the last 60 meters of altitude.

The view is fantastic towards Artfjället and north towards Lake Överuman. The Swedish-Norwegian border mountains in the distance are clearly visible. The sunset is extraordinary from this peak.

It is possible to park a car a bit up after the gravel road. Feel free to ask the vacationers for permission if you feel unsure.

Drive from Tärnaby towards Mo i Rana, 15 km west of Hemavan in the village of Umfors you turn right onto a gravel road just before the shop Gränslöst. The gravel road turns into a path that then disappears and you have to find your own way to the top.
