Servestugan - Tärnasjöstugorna, Kungsleden

After the marshes near Servestugan, the summer trail goes over Servvetjåhkka. Up on Servvetjåhkka the view is impressive. We get closer and closer to Norra Storfjället. This gigantic massif rises on the horizon. If you turn your neck to the north, you can see Ammarfjället as a high mountain fortress.

At Stainna, the summer and winter trails turn off to the west. A park-like mountain birch forest also begins here. This is Sami country, where goats and reindeer used to be kept in the forest.

Once down at Tärnasjöstugorna, the view opens up towards large Tärnasjön. The trail suddenly enters the cabin site and then the day's trip is over and you can enjoy the stay at Tärnasjön.
