A paradise for canoeing with Canadian canoes. The Åman river and lake system offers excellent, well-prepared, well-organized, and easy-to-paddle waters. Here you’ll find 70 km of canoe trails with wind shelters and overnight stays in traditional log cabins once used by timber rafters. Åmsele By Seasons offers canoe rentals.

In the log cabin "Storspoven", you can pre-order lunch, fika, or dinner to enjoy during your canoe trip. If you’re looking for longer adventures on more challenging waters, the unregulated Vindel River is nearby, offering almost 400 km of paddling waters. But watch out for the rapids!

Åmsele By Seasons rents out canoes, with paddles and life jackets included. For an extra fee, the canoes can be transported to the starting point of your choice within the Åman lake system. You can pick them up at the same location or another spot, depending on how you want to plan your paddling trip – you decide what works best.
