Fjällfinakåtan

Fjällfinakåtan is an excellent excursion destination near Hemavan.

Those who wish can then continue the trail past the hut, over Kåtahobben and on into Kobåset. Along Kobåsbäcken there is much to discover for young and old and often there are snow fields left long into the summer. Perfect for snowball fights!

Start at Fjällparken and follow the King's Trail up and when you have just come up on the bog and see the top of the Centrumliften turn off the trail and follow the path in a NE direction past the windbreaks at Holmlunds minne. Use the bridge to cross the stream, and then follow the blue marked path up to the hut.

The hut is owned by the Hemavan Scout Union.

The hut is open and there is a small stove that can be used, as well as a fireplace outside. If you are a larger group, or if you want to stay overnight in the hut, contact Hemavan Mountain Station 0954-300 27 in advance.
