Beskrivelse
Stormyråsen is a small forest reserve that is nevertheless suitable for visitors seeking nature experiences in the form of natural forests and bogs in a mosaic-like environment. A marked snowmobile trail runs through the western part of the area and there is also a path that was previously used as a shepherd's path.
Stormyråsen is an elongated and flat reserve located on the hill west of Klarälven. The area consists of alternating forest and mire. The area has traces of previous fires and the forest is varied with everything from pure pine stands to mixed forest with elements of birch.
Several rare and red-listed species have been found in the reserve, which shows long forest continuity and the abundance of structures that create favorable living conditions for these species.

Location: Värmlands län, Torsby municipality, about 4 kilometers west of Stöllet. About four kilometers along the road between Ljusnäs and Björbysätern, a gravel road leads south from which you reach the southern (and largest sub-area) of the reserve. The best parking is just south of this area on a large turning area.
Forskrifter
In addition to other statutory provisions, it is prohibited in the reserve to
- felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees or bushes, standing or fallen
- collect invertebrates, mosses, lichens and wood fungi
- driving a motorized vehicle
- tipping or stockpiling
- digging or pulling up vascular plants
- damaging, rearranging or removing rock, earth or stone.
Exceptions
The prohibition on driving motorized vehicles does not apply on existing roads, or driving snowmobiles on trails marked with red crosses and marked on the map in Appendix 2.
