Beskrivelse
The Kyckling Trail winds along the Vänern coast, through a hazel grove and coniferous forest, up a mountain, down again through mixed forest and the distinctive Kyckling Valley, where over 38 rare species have been identified. On the mountain there was a large forest fire in 2004, an area of over 2 km² burned. From the top of the mountain you can look out over Lake Vänern, the largest lake in Western Europe at 5 650 km². Lake Vänern also has Europe's largest freshwater archipelago, with more than 22 000 islands, islets and skerries.

Veibeskrivelse
From Liljedalsmotet on E18/E45, south of Grums. Take the exit towards Liljedal. (If you come from the north: drive about 400 meters, turn left. Drive about 400 meters, turn right.) Follow the road about 4.5 km. After the bridge, in Liljedal, take the first road to the left, Budavägen. Follow Budavägen about 1km, keep left on the road. At Buda Gård keep right.
