Utsiktsplats, Arnöhuvud

High up on Uppsalaåsen you can look out over the waters of Lake Mälaren. At Arnöhuvud, Uppsala Ridge is 45 m high and 400 m wide. The slopes down to the water are steep and covered with coniferous forest. In the Bronze Age, Arnöhuvud was an island from which you had a good view of the waterway towards Uppsala. Traces of the people of that time can be seen today in the form of several stone cairns.
