Skekarsbo, Färnebofjärden

There is a 20 meter high viewing tower that offers a fantastic view with the chance to see, among other things, sea eagles and ospreys. At Skekarsbo there is parking, toilet, picnic table, small beach, jetty, rocks, 2 windbreaks and fireplaces. Overnight stays in tents, hammocks or on the ground are not permitted. Along the hiking trail from here to Gysinge you pass a tent site and several windbreaks.

The area at Skekarsboentrén will undergo a major reconstruction in the coming years.
