2025-09-10. Trees over the paths in Tjäderleksmossen.

During the summer storms, a number of trees have fallen over the paths in Tjäderleksmossen, making some parts difficult to access. The County Administrative Board has removed some trees, especially those that fell over the roads, but many still remain.

Unfortunately, our resources are currently very limited and we simply do not have the opportunity to remove fallen trees continuously when they fall in the nature reserves. Our aim is to walk all the paths in our nature reserves at least once a year and remove trees that have fallen across the paths.

Beskrivelse

The terrain in Tjäderleksmossen Nature Reserve is rocky in places and quite difficult to access, especially in the eastern part of the area. But you also walk over rocky areas and more easy trails.

From the southern parking lot, there is a 1.5 km loop through the boulder- and moss-rich Kansas Valley. You can also hike north, 1.7 km to the northern parking lot and another 1.7 km to the rest area at Skärsjön.
