Beskrivelse
From the 30 m high cliffs that plunge down towards Lake Mälaren, you have a fantastic view of Ekolsundsviken and Norra Björkfjärden. Inside is the magical forest that has been left alone to grow and develop on its own.
You can go to Kalmarnäs to get close to Lake Mälaren, enjoy the view and walk in the forest. Feel free to bring a picnic basket or something to grill. Follow the paths from the parking lot in the northern part of the reserve to get to the viewpoint on Vattunödsberget, the barbecue area or the stream ravine.
The view at Vattunödsberget is one of Uppsala county's favorite spots in nature. A nature spot is an area with high natural and outdoor values that is accessible to visitors.

The parking lot is located along the road, on the left side when you arrive at the reserve. The trails start from here.
Kommunikasjon
You cannot get to Kalmarnäs by bus.
Veibeskrivelse
Kalmarnäs is located on Lake Mälaren west of Bålsta.
By car: From E18 turn off on road 544 at Bålsta. Follow the signs to Lastberget's course farm. When you approach Lastberget, after about 3 km, turn left towards the nature reserve. A short distance in is the parking lot. If you enter Bålsta via road 263, continue towards the center and then straight ahead until you meet signs for Lastberget.

Otroligt fina klippor att klättra bland eller sola på. Eldplatser fin s, och rep att hålla i där det är brant. Torrtoalett vid parkeringen och korta sträckor = familjevänligt!
