Beskrivelse
Vikingagården Gunnes gård is an open-air museum in Upplands Väsby. Here we recreate the environment and life on a farm from the Late Iron Age - the time we usually call the Viking Age.
Gunnes gård is a reconstruction of a Viking farm from the early 1000s. The farm is beautifully situated in an area rich in ancient remains where the animals graze on the burial mounds.
Several sights
There are Bronze Age cairns, burial grounds from the Iron Age and several rune stones. One of the rune stones reads "Vibjörn had the stone carved after Gunnes daughter, his wife". It is after this stone that Gunnes farm is named.

Parkering
Parking is available at the end of Ryttargatan. From the parking lot it is a short walk to the farm.
Veibeskrivelse
Vikingagården Gunnes gård is located in Upplands Väsby, about 25 kilometers north of Stockholm.
**By car
Take exit 176 from the E4 at Upplands Väsby interchange. Then take Mälarvägen, Ekebovägen and Ryttargatan. Parking is available at the end of Ryttargatan. From the parking lot it is a short walk to the farm.
**By public transport
From Stockholm: Take the commuter train towards Märsta/Uppsala to Upplands Väsby station. Take bus 536 or 560 from Upplands Väsby station to the Ryttargatan stop. Then follow the signs towards Gunnes gård. From Stockholm City the whole trip takes about 50 minutes.

Mycket trevligt och vackert! Perfekt om man åker dit med kompisar och barn. Tipspromenad passar barn som vuxna och det har även en trevligt skogspromenad med runstenar och dyligt.
