Väsby botaniska trädpark

A so-called "arboretum", a botanical tree park, is currently being developed in the Hasselskogen district.

Hasselskogen is a unique block of nature that is preserved and cared for by the municipality and its residents to give people the opportunity to enjoy the healing power of trees and forests, a path of the senses. All of Sweden's most common deciduous trees are found in the forest and it is therefore also a classroom for anyone who wants to learn more about the trees. Welcome here too!

**Signs with information about tree varieties

To make it easier and more accessible to learn about the trees, there are signs at a number of trees, one sign per species. At the northern end of the park there is a map mounted on an electrical cabinet. There you can find all the signs and thus all the tree species found in the tree park. The illustrations on the signs are made by the well-known illustrator Bo Mossberg, who has illustrated the "Swedish flora" and who has also lived in Väsby for many years.
