Vallentunasjön is a large lake with many opportunities. In winter, it is popular for cross-country skating and walking. In the summer, the area offers great nature trails to enjoy. Vallentuna municipality and Täby municipality are working together to restore the lake, to improve the ecological balance of the lake. The aim of the restoration of Vallentunasjön is to increase the opportunities for swimming and boating and to achieve greater biodiversity.
