Upplevelsestråket - Ed- 4.6 km

With Upplevelsestråket you can get close to nature and experiences in the municipality in an easy way. The trail runs along the old waterways between Saltsjön and Mälaren, which were already used for transportation in Viking times.

The route is divided into twelve stages and has a total length of just over 40 kilometers.

Ed is one of the three parishes that are the origin of Upplands Väsby municipality. The lush bushes around Edssjön are home to the nightingale, which can be heard in May. Ed's church, which dates from the 12th century, is the oldest building in the municipality. It contains paintings by Albertus Pictor, among others.

The experience trail is a collaborative project between Upplands Väsby municipality, associations and landowners.
