Upplandsleden genom Stockholms län

If you want to explore nature in Harva or on Runshalvön in western Upplands Väsby, you should hike Upplandsleden. The trail offers excellent opportunities for hiking along the shores of Lake Mälaren. The trail runs between Barkarby and continues to Uppsala.

Along the Upplandsleden trail in Upplands Väsby there are several campfire sites along the shores of Lake Mälaren, including at Roparudden and in Sättra Gård nature reserve. You can stop there to barbecue, fish or swim. If you are on the trail in the northern parts of the Runsa peninsula, you can make a detour to the ancient castle in Runsa and look at the beautiful view of Mälarfjärden Skarven. Runsa is also home to one of Sweden's largest ship settlements, which is 55 meters long.
