Traces of old clay mines can be seen in the dense jungle-like elm forest. This is where clay was once mined for brick making; the brick factory itself has long since been demolished. The old clay mines are located along the path.

Park at the parking lot north of Frösviks gård.

By car: From Stockholm: Take Route 274 towards Vaxholm. Drive för 7.1 km and then turn right onto Pålsundsvägen road, signposted "Bogesund". Continue 2.4 km on Pålsundsvägen road, turn right and continue for another 4.6 km. Turn right and drive about 1 km. Park at the parking lot north of Frösviks gård farm.
By foot: You can get to the old clay mines at Tegelbrukshagen via the Frösviksrundan hiking trail or the Stortallsrundan hiking trail.
Forskrifter
In order to protect the Bogesundslandet nature reserve, please respect the following rules.
Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage rock, soil or stone by drilling, cutting, blasting, carving, digging, painting or similar,
- break branches, fell or in any other way damage living or dead trees and bushes or damage the vegetation in general by digging up plants,
- bring dogs that are not on a leash,
- camp for more than two consecutive nights outside of designated campsites,
- park a motorhome, caravan or other camping vehicle outside of designated campsites,
- anchor a boat at the same beach for more than two consecutive nights,
- make a fire outside of designated sites,
- put up signs, posters or similar,
- bike outside of designated bicycling trails while cycling off road,
- ride horses off road or outside of designated horse trails.
