STF Arholma Nord

The island of Arholma is located in Roslagen in the northern archipelago of Stockholm. On the map, the island seems remote, but it's easy to reach this gem by archipelago boats from Stockholm, Norrtälje or Simpnäs. When you step ashore, winding gravel roads among pine trees, flowering meadows, sun-warmed cliffs and an ever-present sea await.

At Arholma Nord you live close to nature, in cozy rooms with views of the bay or the forest. Here, simplicity is combined with comfort and made beds and breakfast buffet are always included.

The rooms are divided into several smaller buildings with different room types to choose from, from single rooms to family rooms for up to five people. All with a view of the forest or water and with toilet and shower in the corridor. In Sjöstugan and Stormladan it is possible to stay with a dog for a small fee.

For those who want to discover Arholma on foot, Stockholm's Archipelago Trail has a beautiful stage around the island of just under 13 kilometers. The trail takes you through forests and cultural landscapes, along cliffs and open views and then back to the accommodation. After a day out in the open, a hot sauna overlooking the sea, a dip from the rocks or a moment in the sun on the jetty followed by a well-prepared dinner at the associated restaurant awaits.

Arholma Nord's restaurant has become a natural gathering place for boaters, guests and islanders. The atmosphere is relaxed and personal - a place where you'll want to stay a little longer, especially on summer evenings with live music and wonderful views of the horizon. For guests who prefer to cook for themselves, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen is available in the Tjärven building. Luggage transportation is offered from the island's jetty at fixed times, making arrival smooth even for those traveling light.
