Beskrivelse
On the small headland by Lillsjön is this rest area with a prepared barbecue area. It is a popular place to eat your packed lunch. Firewood is available in the woodpile next to the path when you cross the bridge over Gammelström.
The fire pit has no grate. Use barbecue sticks or take more of your own equipment to grill on the grate. Remember to put out the fire properly before leaving the site.
Adjacent to the site, up towards the path that continues into the nature reserve, there is a dry toilet.

Fakta
Gammelström is part of the Tyresån lake system. It drains Långsjön and flows through a valley down to Tyresö-Flaten. The river is about 200 meters long and quite shallow. There is a small wooden bridge over the river to Tyresta nature reserve.

Kommer du med bil så kan du parkera på parkeringen där Gammelströms väg tar slut.

By bus, the easiest way to get from Nyfors bus stop down Gammelströms väg and on towards Tyresta nature reserve.

The barbecue area is on the right after you cross the larger bridge over Gammelström.
If you come by car, you can park in the parking lot where Gammelströms väg ends.
