Beskrivelse
Nice day trip starting from Kayak and Outdoor Life on Gräddö. The tour can be paddled in both directions depending on the wind direction.
Lidö is a nature reserve and here you are met by varied archipelago nature. The island has an active agriculture with open pastures and soft meadows but also deciduous and coniferous forests. Along the water there are many fine cliffs suitable for beachcombing for both coffee and swimming.
There is a shelter on the northwest cape with a fireplace in front. A garbage dump, outhouse and fireplace are also available in Österhamn on the east side.
Lidö Värdshus, which offers a good restaurant, is located at the steamboat jetty. There is also the possibility of staying overnight at inns or cottages.

Fakta
Length: 12 km
Time: 3 hours without a break
Difficulty: Green suitable tour if you have paddle pass yellow or higher.
Location: Approved Kanotcentralen Kajak and Uteliv. Gräddö Brygga. Laying from both the pier and the beach is offered. For kayaks not rented at the canoe center, a fee of SEK 50 / kayak is charged to contribute to the maintenance.
Pick-up point: same as landing point.
Paddling time of year: all year round when there is no ice. The ice settles first at the pier on Gräddö. Clothing and knowledge according to the season are required.
Lifting/land transportation: No lifting is required on this trip.
Parkering
Parking is available both at Kajak and Uteliv and also the village association has some parking for 50 SEK / day.

Nearest public transport: Gräddö torg
By car: E18 towards Kapellskär. Just before Kapellskär turn left towards Räfsnäs/Gräddö. Continue into Gräddö and then right down towards the harbor.
Forskrifter
To protect Lidö Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow. In the reserve it is forbidden to
- destroy or damage rock, soil or stone by drilling, hacking, blasting, carving, digging, painting or similar
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs or otherwise damage vegetation by digging up plants such as rice, herbs, mosses or lichens or removing woody fungi
- disturbing wildlife (e.g. by climbing trees, trapping or killing mammals, birds, reptiles or amphibians)
- bringing an unleashed dog
- make a fire other than in the designated place
- put up a board, poster, poster, sign or make an inscription
- camping for more than two days in the same place
- anchor a boat on the same beach for more than two consecutive days
- land an aircraft at a place other than the designated place.
