Kallhällsbadet

On hot summer days, the pool is buzzing with life. Kallhällsbadet is Järfälla's own riviera. It has a fine sandy beach, jetties, lovely grassy areas, toilets and showers in summer. There is also a playground, beach volleyball court and several barbecue areas.

Tracks, gym and a tough hill

Next to the swimming pool is a fitness trail with a famous and challenging hill. It is both steep and long. The electric light trails in the area are 2.4 and 3.1 kilometers long. There is also an outdoor gym by the tracks. A lovely promenade stretches south of the bath. Here it is easy to pull a stroller. After about 500 meters there is a wooden deck that goes out into the water with a barbecue area right on the shore.

A bit up in the forest was once Villa Hälleboda, a magnificent residential building. The house was destroyed in a fire in the 1970s, but you can still see the foundations up the slope from the promenade.

Dogs are not allowed at Kallhällsbadet (except for the passage through the bath). There is a special dog bath at Ängsjö outdoor area.

Barbecues are only allowed in designated barbecue areas.
