Hackstatrappan, utsiktsplats

Hackstatrappan leads up to the top of Hackstabacken. With its 212 steps, 160 meters long with four plateaus, it is the county's longest wooden staircase.

At the top there is a viewpoint with binoculars where you can enjoy the fantastic view. On a clear day you can see all the way to Stockholm and Globen (now Avicii arena) and out towards our beautiful archipelago. Closer up, there are panoramic views of Åkersberga and the surrounding area.

It takes 236 trips up the Hackstatrappan's 212 steps to roughly correspond to a Mount Everest. It can be a fun goal to set for your training!

Exercise for all ages

The stairs provide a really fun exercise opportunity for all ages. You can climb step by step at a leisurely pace, stop and rest at the resting platform and look at the view. Others may choose to skip up, take the full turn around Hackstabacken and repeat the feat until the lactic acid stops.

Åkersberga's central and easily accessible outdoor recreation area Hacksta will now have another attraction and destination that we hope will attract all ages to visit when it is completed. The accessibility of the area increases and gives training and competition-oriented residents new training opportunities.
