Between the trees along the hilly path, there is a wide view of the waters of Lake Mälaren. Ålstensskogen gives you many opportunities to find peaceful places. The main path runs along the water and there are benches along the path where you can enjoy an expansive view of Lake Mälaren. The city and its sounds feel far away.

Take the subway to Alvik, change to the Nockebybanan and get off at the Smedslätten stop, then it's about a 10-minute walk south down towards Lake Mälaren.
