When crossing the Green Plain, be sure to close the gates behind you. During the summer months, the entire open area is cow pasture. The cows won't bother you if you don't bother them. If you have a dog, you need to take a bigger walk as the cows are both curious and want to protect their calves.

The loop follows nice forest trails, forest roads and a paved former embankment from the railway Eskilstuna-Stockholm. In a section of about 1 km, the path has a lot of roots and stones in combination with slightly steeper ups and downs.
