Tullgarns naturreservat

If you want to experience all of Södertälje's natural environments in one day, Tullgarn is a good option. Here you can just enjoy the beautiful surroundings and drink coffee at the castle. You can wander through large deciduous forests of ash and oak and lime, in dense spruce forests or rocky pine forests. You can walk along shore meadows, in pastures, up viewing mountains and much more. Tullgarn is a very popular place for bird watching as Häggnäsviken is considered the county's most prominent seabird bay. Among other things, it is not unusual to see sea eagles. There is also an accessible birdwatching tower in Häggnäsviken near the castle.

The castle has been in place since the Middle Ages. There is both an inn and a café. The Sörmlandsleden trail runs through the area and is nice to hike or just take a day trip.
