Fakta
Rönne Å flows from Ringsjön to Skälderviken, i.e. northwards, in Ängelholm municipality you can buy a fishing license for the stretch "Gåsahalsen" to the mouth. The most popular fishing is for salmon and sea trout, but also the catfish is good in many places. The river is the southernmost watercourse on the west coast with a self-reproducing population of Atlantic salmon. The salmon normally start to rise in April. The largest fish, which can weigh over 10 kg, rise first. During the summer, the small salmon, the so-called grilse, rise. Sea trout fishing starts the first weekend in March. Most common early in the season is the spawning fish that are on their way back to the sea, called besor, to be released, but a lot of shiny fish move between the sea and the river and offer anglers good fishing. Sea trout often start to rise around midsummer but fishing for migratory fish is usually best towards the end of the season.
The river is also home to perch, pike and whitefish.

OBS!
Litter is often seen along our waters, so we would like to remind you of the following:
A line thrown in the wild does not disappear after a few weeks, if it ends up where the sun's rays hit it, it stays for a very long time. If the line ends up in the shade, it will last for years...
Unfortunately, it often happens that birds and other wildlife get tangled in these death traps, these go a very painful death to meet completely unnecessary, clumsy and stupid.
Therefore, make sure that the next one can come to the fishing waters and find it as nice as you did.
So be sure to clean up and take home the lines and trash you intend to throw away. Or make use of the bins for rubbish that can be found along the river.
If it doesn't help birds and other animals, it is a fine for littering in nature.
