Fulltofta is home to the Stork Project's largest enclosure (2500 m2). It was completed in 2004 and houses almost 50 storks. Most of these are Polish storks that have been imported in two rounds (2004 and 2009). There, the storks have ended up in various zoos after being rehabilitated from injuries in the wild. As a result, many storks are unable to fly because their wings are stiff or partially amputated. Free-ranging storks nest on the poles that support the net and around it.
