Brottets bana, vandringsled, Höör

The approximately three-kilometer-long Brottets bana trail is an easy to moderate hiking trail that runs between Höörs Mölla and Stanstorp quarry in Stenskogen. There are also unmarked paths that wind through the forest; the municipality is not responsible for these, but you are welcome to walk on them.

On Brottet's path you will have to cross several fences using stepladders and during certain periods of the year the lower part of the trail can become a wetland.

The name of the trail comes from the now defunct railroad that runs along Flygarevägen. The railway was popularly known as Brottets bana when building stone was transported on it between Stanstorp quarry and Höörs station.

At selected places on the trail there are boards with maps and information about the history of the surroundings. You can also pick up brochures with maps in the mailbox next to the information board at Höörs Mölla.
